We support women led grassroots initiatives focused on ecosystems conservation and restoration. We partner with other non-profit organizations, both on and off the ground, who share our values and whose mission is aligned with ours, to support projects of proven impact and integrity.
Guinea (África Occidental)
Agricultura y Apicultura Sostenibles
Apoyamos a nuestro socio suizo Nouvelle Planète en la implementación de un proyecto de agricultura y apicultura sostenibles en la aldea de Maléya Labifou, subprefectura de Kolenté, región de Kindia, Guinea (África Occidental), junto con un grupo organizado de mujeres de la comunidad local. El proyecto mejorará la seguridad alimentaria y los ingresos de la aldea, al tiempo que cuidará el suelo, el bosque y el ecosistema.

Habitat Recovery for Lion Conservation
Lion population in Kenya has decreased dramatically, due to habitat loss, conflict with humans, large-scale infrastructure projects, and climate change. We have partnered with the local NGO Ewaso Lions to support an organized group of local Samburu women called Mama Simba (Mothers of Lions). All year round Mama Simba perform habitat recovery tasks that are beneficial for the lions, the whole ecosystem, and the community.

Patrulla Forestal de Mujeres Indígenas y Reforestación de Santuario
Ayudamos a nuestro socio local, Nuraga Bhumi, a reforzar su programa de patrullas forestales indígenas para prevenir la caza ilegal de animales salvajes y la tala ilegal, y a reforestar un santuario que antes era una plantación de aceite de palma. Protegen y conservan la selva tropical adyacente al ecosistema de Gunung Leuser, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad.
